I'm always looking for new products to make and sell. One that people have asked about is sieves. I wanted to make some that were quite chunky and would last a long time.
I made them so the bottom is completely rebated in and held with a bead. This should make them strong and durable.
They are part of my commitment to being as close to zero waste as possible. To build the potting trays I sell I buy wide boards, sometimes they come split and I can't use them. This is where I get the material for the handles of my scoops, and now I will make some sieves from them as well.
So far I have two sizes available, and I will make more soon.
What else would you like to see me make?

I admire your skills. What you make is outstanding. Unfortunately, living in France has become impossible to buy from Great Britain, as the customs duties are very expensive. It has been too expensive because of BREXIT. Sad, isntit ?
ReplyDeleteReally is, I used to sell a lot to Europe, now it just isn't worth the paperwork and risk of customs. I am very anti brexit! What a stupid thing to have done to the country and Europe. Makes me quite mad.
