I do all my fence work in late Fall, Winter or very early Spring myself as it's just easier not fighting the heavy weeds, ticks and chiggers then. I use my post hole digger on my tractor for gates though and to stretch my wire.
PioneerPreppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09269878017447335944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-18408439761613153782014-11-24T22:39:01.292+00:002014-11-24T22:39:01.292+00:00No horses here. I just have to worry when she wants a pony!Kev Alvitihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04992625860900617194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-19148032470248617632014-11-24T22:37:40.758+00:002014-11-24T22:37:40.758+00:00We had lots last week and the ground is saturated ...We had lots last week and the ground is saturated but it was lovely and sunny. It is a two man job really but I have to do it on my own, my brother and dad did help me put in the posts though so I can't complain. It's aright once you've got a system in place.Kev Alvitihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04992625860900617194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-63471059773485146312014-11-24T11:31:00.958+00:002014-11-24T11:31:00.958+00:00I need to do fence work but so far they keep the h...I need to do fence work but so far they keep the horse in which is the easiest animal to contain. Bought a couple of cheap rolls of sheep wire the other week from a man in his van. You can always barter or haggle over the price. Could you imagine going in a supermarket and haggling over the price of your shopping?

I think fencing is a two person job. Especially when you are straining the wire or walking backwards and forwards with posts. northsider https://www.blogger.com/profile/00716743611909673869noreply@blogger.com
