We too use wood stoves. We have two in the house. Last winter never had to turn on the central heat woowhoo. Would be nice if that holds true again this year. Not to worry, living in caravans for three years has certainly helped us adapt to the cold, so most times we don't have any heating on in the house at all, but we do keep a radiator on in the bathroom to stop any damp problems. We used to have full central heating in the UK, and along with the heated air came coughs and colds which seemed to have both me and Lester feeling unwell for much of the winter, but now we are living in fresh air, we are most definitely a lot healthier. It is 25 F (7 degrees below freezing) right now at sunrise and 70 F inside so it keeps the house warm.Sunnybrook Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18135224259672444423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-79267466324964446692013-11-08T10:38:28.272+00:002013-11-08T10:38:28.272+00:00My heating has been coming on automatically in the...My heating has been coming on automatically in the mornings the last couple of days. No preening in front of the bathroom mirror after a shower!!!lol We are doing the opposite to you Kev - cranking up the air cons - last couple of days have been 38deg (cel). Although today has dropped back to mid 20's and rain predicted - better enjoy that while we can - jan and Feb are renowned for mid 40's!!creations.1https://www.blogger.com/profile/06091470077700396841noreply@blogger.com
