I have planted some seed from them, but I think they should be OK, since they are cucubita ficifolia, and the courgettes would be c. pepo.SkyeEnthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10145330442689939560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-1011498110014939872018-05-07T10:38:34.895+01:002018-05-07T10:38:34.895+01:00Thanks! I grow mine through plastic and find that I never have to water them as it traps so much water in, but depends on soil conditions, wouldn't work with sandy soil. I recommend buying new seed if you want what you had the year before.Cro Magnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06840670227576695352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-44443857716199167652018-05-06T03:01:46.566+01:002018-05-06T03:01:46.566+01:00Your squash bounty looks amazing!Your squash bounty looks amazing!Beahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07886227825064266814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3078806588853616263.post-1656627625525354212018-05-05T17:21:10.104+01:002018-05-05T17:21:10.104+01:00Have you ever read Jackie Clays blog? http://www....Have you ever read Jackie Clays blog? http://www.backwoodshome.com/blogs/JackieClay/<br />Her and her husband live in Minnesota, USA, of grid on an 80? acre homestead. It is a survival crop that has been grown by the native people for hundreds of years. Last time I tried I lost it to a monster fungus but hope to do better this year. Already up to 90 F here and rains usually begin first week of June so need to wait to plant due to water shortage. We keep learning! Love your blog!!!
