Lots of failures in the garden at the moment! But when I walk around our place I can see lots of places where we're winning.
Slowly we're trying to take back the garden (I'm even paying the children to help on this job), but the orchard is looking great and fruitful again as well as the coppice is growing really strongly.

I always tackle the job that feels like the right one to be doing on any particular day. That may not always coincide with my mental list of what I thought I might be doing in the upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteYeah I think that's the wight way of looking at it. Especially when you have animals, you never know what jobs could turn up.
DeleteYou produce an impressive amount of fruit and vegetables. Everything seems to grow well for you with very little trouble with the wildlife taking crops.
ReplyDeleteOh wildlife take loads and loads. Some years I feel I'm utterly failing, but I just try to grow enough that I can have some taken without noticing it too much!
