The unit itself is waterproof, but the extension reel isn't. So I thought I'd use a a rain barrel that has a small hole in it to make a cover.
A bit of ply on the bottom, a few hinges, and it was ready to go!
Somehow it was one of those jobs that I'd been putting off, but didn't take too long. Hopefully this will help keep it a little drier as the mornings and evenings get damper with dew and we have a few rainy days here and there.
