Wheelbarrow Soil/Compost Sieve

So another product added to my range. This one is another that has come about due to wanting the product myself.

Store bought compost seems to be getting worse and worse, so I'm either making more of my own or I'm having to sieve out big chunks of wood from the compost I buy. This sieve goes on the wheelbarrow and lets me sieve it easily.

I got some bigger wire for this, with 12mm (1/2") squares, and in 16 gauge, so thicker than the wire I use for my baskets.

Again I've rebated the wire into the bottom of the sieve, and then screwed a bead all round to make sure it's firmly in there, allowing it to take the weight of good shovel full of soil or compost to be sorted.

This one has the width of 45cm (18inches) and a length of 92cm (3ft), but I can make other sizes depending on the size of the wheel barrow. The sides are housed into the rails, then fixed with glue and screws, making this a durable frame.

I'm really pleased with these. I've made a small batch to start with and will see how popular they are.

What else would you like me to make?
