I'm always looking for new products to make and sell. One that people have asked about is sieves. I wanted to make some that were quite chunky and would last a long time.
I made them so the bottom is completely rebated in and held with a bead. This should make them strong and durable.
They are part of my commitment to being as close to zero waste as possible. To build the potting trays I sell I buy wide boards, sometimes they come split and I can't use them. This is where I get the material for the handles of my scoops, and now I will make some sieves from them as well.
So far I have two sizes available, and I will make more soon.
What else would you like to see me make?
