Got lots of Tomatoes in, the following varieties -

Primabella

Milliefleur

True Black

Hungarian pink

Indigo rose

Cherokee Purple

Shimmer

Tiger Tom

Black Opal

Little Tanyana

Plus a few other bits and pieces. Also have a cool hydrophonic growing thing in the kitchen which I'lll share with you all later (for growing salad and herbs).

What tomatoes have you got growing this year?

  1. We are growing Outdoor Girl again. Now we have a tiny garden and no greenhouse, have found that this is one of the best outdoor varieties. Xx

  2. Due to a dry winter, we got an early start this year and have half of our garden planted already with cool weather veggies. We also started a tray of early tomatoes and peppers indoors which we will hopefully transfer to a greenhouse in a few weeks. Since we mostly can our tomato crop, I go with a variety here called Amish Paste. They have a supper low water content so cook down extremely fast into sauce, tomato paste, etc.

    1. 've never had much luck with Amish paste, I found the plants didn't grow that strongly for me, but it ight be worth me trying again, the seeds were from a seed swap, so sometimes it might not always be what they say!

  3. Kev, we are still in the latter midst of Winter. My "garden" on my balcony is starting to move forward, but I need more sun. I envy you your tomatoes.

    1. I have this little hydrophonic planter on my windowsill with a light and I'm loving that for growing salads in the winter!
